1. About Us
ValueMyMotorhome is a trading name of Value My Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”).
All valuations, inspections and vehicle purchases are carried out by or on behalf of Timberland Motorhomes Ltd.
2. Valuation Service
Any valuation provided by ValueMyMotorhome is:
• Free of charge
• Non-binding
• Provided with no obligation on either party
A valuation is an estimate only and does not constitute an offer to purchase your vehicle.
3. Accuracy of Information
Valuations are based solely on the information provided by you at the time of submission.
By submitting your vehicle details, you confirm that:
• All information provided is accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge
• You have disclosed all known faults, defects, damage, modifications, mechanical issues, damp, accident history, or other material factors that may affect the vehicle’s value
Failure to disclose relevant information may result in: A revised valuation, or our decision to withdraw from the transaction entirely
4. Vehicle Inspection
If you wish to proceed following a valuation, your vehicle will be subject to a physical inspection by our experienced team or appointed representatives.
The inspection is carried out to confirm:
• Condition
• Specification
• Mechanical and habitation status
• Accuracy of the information supplied
We reserve the absolute right, at our discretion, to: amend the valuation, or decline to proceed with the purchase if the vehicle is found to differ materially from the description provided, or is not in the condition stated.
5. No Obligation to Purchase
Timberland Motorhomes Ltd is under no obligation to purchase any vehicle, even if:
• A valuation has been provided
• An inspection has taken place
• A collection has been provisionally discussed
We may withdraw at any stage prior to completion without liability.
6. Ownership & Authority to Sell
By submitting a valuation request and proceeding with a sale, you confirm that:
• You are the legal owner of the vehicle, or
• You have full authority to sell the vehicle on behalf of the legal owner
• The vehicle is not subject to undisclosed finance, hire purchase, or third-party interest unless explicitly declared
• Any outstanding finance must be declared and may affect the transaction.
7. Anti-Money Laundering (AML) & Identity Checks
In accordance with UK Anti-Money Laundering regulations, we are required to carry out identity and ownership verification before completing any vehicle purchase.
This may include:
• Proof of identity (e.g. passport or driving licence)
• Proof of address
• Proof of vehicle ownership
• Verification of payment details
We reserve the right to:
• Delay or refuse completion if satisfactory documentation is not provided
• Report any suspicious activity to the relevant authorities where legally required
8. Payment
Payment will only be made once:
• The inspection is completed
• All documentation has been verified
• Ownership has been confirmed
• Both parties have agreed the final purchase price
Payment methods and timing will be confirmed prior to completion.
9. Data Protection
Personal information provided will be used solely for:
• Processing your valuation
• Contacting you regarding your enquiry
• Complying with legal and regulatory obligations
•Suppling you with information relevant to your enquiry
